How a Napa order moves through
After the order is placed, the documents and address are reviewed and the assignment goes out to a registered process server. Each visit is logged with a date, time, and a brief observation. When service is complete or reasonable diligence has been exhausted, the proof of service is finalized through the same account.

Same-Day on Early Orders
Same-day attempts may be available for orders submitted early in the day. Whether the request fits the day’s dispatch is confirmed at intake.
Single-Rate Standard Serve
The standard serve has a single posted rate. Rush, additional recipients, and stakeout are listed separately at order entry.
Stakeout for Tough Cases
A stakeout window can be added at order time when the recipient is hard to reach during normal hours.
POS Filing Available
Filing of the proof of service can be arranged with the appropriate court when the matter calls for it.
Outdated Address Check
Address verification can be added before dispatch when the address is uncertain or outdated.
PDF Proof in Account
The signed proof of service is posted to your account as a downloadable PDF when finalized.
Order View
The account shows the order’s current status with attempt notes added after each visit.
Recipients Who Avoid Service
For evasive recipients, attempt windows can rotate across mornings, midday, and evenings. A stakeout window can be added when avoidance is consistent.
