How a Novato order is worked
The order’s address and document type are reviewed at intake, and the assignment routes to a registered process server. Each visit is added to the account with the server’s notes from the door — what was observed, who was contacted, and the outcome of the attempt. Once the matter resolves, the proof of service is finalized for the appropriate court.

Same-Day Requests

The standard service rate is shown at order entry. Add-ons such as rush, stakeout, and skip tracing carry line-item pricing visible at intake.
Address Verification
Address verification can be added before the assignment goes out when the address is uncertain.
Stakeout Coverage
A stakeout window can be added at order time. The server holds at the address through the chosen block when the recipient’s schedule warrants it.

The signed proof is posted to your account as a downloadable PDF when finalized.
